6.2 REPORT TO : F & B Manager, Assistant F & B Manager, Supervisor,
Captain & Senior Service Associate
6.3 SUBORDINATES : Nil
• To report for duty on time and in the manner specified i.e. well groomed, clean uniforms, etc.
• Smoking and the consumption of beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and food during duty hours are strictly prohibited.
• Places clean linen with edges equal to each side and lined in one direction.
• Sets table linen with cleans crockery and polished cutlery and glassware ensuring that these are spotless at all times.
• Great guests upon arrival with courtesy and friendly smile
• Checks schedule and ensures punctuality at work
• To apply the necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards.
Ensures personal grooming and conduct according to hotel standards
• Monitors and ensures smooth operations of the sections appointed (restaurants / banquet / beverage - as applicable)
Ensures that service / items are prepared according to hotel minimum standards and standard procedures
• Checks quality / presentation / temperature of food / beverage / service prior to serving
• Checks cleanliness of sections prior to and after service
• Ensures that all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned, in order to prolong usage
• Practice economy of food, beverage, paper supplies, electricity and water (practise recycling whenever possible)
• Checks inventory in sections appointed for daily requisition
• Obtain customer feedback during operations to ensure satisfaction
• To relay any customer complaints to supervisor
• Assist in any other tasks as specified by his / her Manager or Assistant
• Able to handle cash machine whenever required.
• Should you find anything belonging to the guests, this should be handed to the Supervisor or Food & Beverage Manager.
• The Hotel requires that you will not (ether during or after your employment) without the Hotel’s written consent, divulge any information concerning the Hotel or any their dealings, transactions or affairs which may come to your knowledge during or in the course of your employment with the Hotel.
• Support in 6S systems,
• Support in ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2008 systems, and
• Any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the management.
6.6 ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT
• At least S.P.M.
6.7 EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENT
• At least 1 year experience in handling of Food & Beverage.
• Must know services procedures and presentation.
